Healthy, real food has been one of our deeply rooted values and commitments since Mundo Verde’s inception in 2011. Mundo Verde stays true to our health and wellness focus, and our commitment to real food by serving high-quality school meals from local vendors and focusing on developing a robust food-education programming, beautiful garden spaces, and curriculum connections to our local food system in our expeditions. Mundo Verde participates in the following Child Nutrition Programs: National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP) and the After School Snack Program (ASP).

Complete the Meals Enrollment Form (Breakfast and Lunch)

If you have not completed the meal enrollment form for your child/ren, please do so by logging into your Parent Portal in Infinite Campus (scroll down to the "documents" tab on the left side.) This would help the kitchen team accurately and efficiently prepare breakfast and lunch for all students who would like to eat.

Food is not denied to any student, but if a student is not enrolled, then they might get an alternative meal due to supply. So we highly recommend enrolling if you would like your child to be guaranteed what's on the menu.

Breakfast is free for all students, and lunch is a monthly fee of $100 unless you qualify for FARM.

How to Order Meals

This school year 2023-24, the school meals program is transitioning to a monthly flat fee. The new fee structure is $120 per month, covering daytime lunch ($100) and daytime snacks ($20). Families that qualify for free or reduced meals (FARM) will continue to qualify for free meals and snacks.

To sign up for monthly school meals, please log in to the Parent Portal on Infinite Campus and complete the Meals Enrollment Form.

Breakfast is free for all students. Even though breakfast is free, families need to enroll (using the Meals enrollment form) to help the kitchen team be prepared to serve as many students as needed.

In order to promote healthy eating habits, Mundo Verde provides a snack to all students in the classroom either before lunch or after recess. These provided snacks correlate with our Sustainability and Wellness policy. These snacks are available to all students even if they bring their own, forget to pack, or would like to try the school snack. Snacks are associated with a school-wide fee of $20 per student per month unless a family qualifies for FARM benefits.
