Mundo Verde is diverse by design. And diversity presents itself in myriad ways. We know that students, including those with disabilities, can achieve at high levels. And we also know that when students with disabilities are included in general education classrooms, everyone in the classroom benefits - both those with and without disabilities. Diversity, in addition to being a challenge for some, is an opportunity to teach critical social skills to everyone.
